Carlie Coley, Papa 2000

Carlie Coley knows a thing or two about having patience to achieve a goal. Five years might seem like a long time to spend before gaining the Hemingway Look-Alike Contest’s top honor, but he’s a patient soul.

Bob Doughty, Papa 2005

We will all miss Papa Bob Doughty, winner of the 2005 contest.  Bob was usually pretty quiet unless you drew him out a little. If you did so, you were rewarded with his great sense of humor.  Randy – we look forward to seeing you again this year.

Larry Austin, Papa 2007

Larry Austin passed away on November 5, 2019.  Larry will be missed so much by so many; especially for his great sense of humor, kindness, and generosity. Anyone that knew Larry loved him. He was a Hemingway look alike winner in 2007 – PAPA LARRY. He owned his own insurance agency for 27 years in Clearwater, FL, delivered Meals On Wheels for the elderly for 2+ years & loved to play golf.
