Vision and Mission of The Hemingway Look-Alike Society

The vision of the Hemingway Look-Alike Society is to honor and promote the legacy of Ernest Miller Hemingway in a positive manner, nurturing future and lasting friendships, camaraderie, fellowship, and fairness toward all.

Our mission is to promote and conduct the annual Hemingway Look-Alike Contest and Auction while honoring his birthday on July 21st of each year during the Hemingway Days Celebration.

Through the proceeds of our auction and fundraising events, we offer scholarships to students in the Florida Keys, support various local 501(C)(3) charities, support the Gigi All Stars baseball league and their families, and contribute to the staff at Finca Vigia as well as the fishermen in Cojimar, Cuba.
